Kasson Grove:
A Place to Call Home

Kasson Grove, fondly referred to as The Grove, is situated in Northwest Connecticut and the Litchfield hills. It is a community of people of all ages who enjoy the comfort of Bethlehem, CT lakeside homes and Connecticut lake front vacation properties. Some houses are year-round homes and other cottages are second homes for folks who enjoy the quiet and beauty of Long Meadow Lake which boasts 110 acres of surface area and its surrounding woodlands.

Kasson Grove is a special taxing district of Bethlehem, CT, governed by a Charter and Ordinances in compliance with Connecticut statues, and maintains its own roads, waterfront, lake access, beach and parking areas.

Grove Car Stickers Required for Beach Parking

As a private community, one of the privileges we enjoy is the exclusive use of our beach and two boat launches. Just as the Bethlehem Transfer Station requires car stickers for those who use the Transfer Station, Kasson Grove has made car stickers available for residents who want to park their car at the beach. The stickers will identify cars as belonging to Kasson Grove residents and their guests and their ability to use the beach and pavilion. There is no charge for the stickers. If you plan on parking at the beach, you need to post your assigned sticker prominently inside your windshield on the left side (driver’s side) as you do your Transfer Station sticker.

To get a sticker for each of your cars, please contact Ruth Hogan at rhogan4834@aol.com or Evelyn Schwabacher at egslily2@yahoo.com.

KGPOA Boat Stickers Required for Your Boat or Kayak at the Boat Launch

While most of the boats, kayaks and canoes stored on the racks at the boat launch have and display the required boat tags, there are a few that do not have boat stickers. Please contact Mike Hastey to get your free boat sticker if you don’t have one for your boat. You can contact Mike at 203-266-6625 or 860-488-1739 (cell). Please leave a message if he is unable to answer. Or email him at mikeh3133@charter.net. You can also contact Evelyn Schawbacher at egslily2@yahoo.comThe boat rack storage is for use by Kasson Grove Property Owners’ Association members only. The racks are not for public use. This is the reason boat tags are required.
